Mr Richard W Bottom
BVSc MRCVS
Chairman and Financial Director
Richard Bottom qualified from Liverpool University in 1972. He practised as a mixed vet in Lancaster for 37 years, thus bringing a lifetime of experience to his present role as Chairman and Financial Director. He also has a farm in Cumbria.

Miss Anita E Lowis
Cert (B&PS)
Practice Management and Finance
Anita is a local farmer’s daughter. She joined the Practice in 2002 having previously worked as a Commercial Bank Manager and now acts as the Administrative Director and Company Secretary. Anita keeps busy on her own smallholding in the Lune Valley looking after her Shorthorn cattle, two Fell ponies, chickens and Border Collie.

Mrs Pauline Coward
Practice Secretary
Pauline joined the Practice in 2001 as an Admin Assistant and is now the Practice Secretary. In her spare time Pauline enjoys playing with her two young grandaughters.

Mrs Louise Gilbert
Credit Control Manager
Louise started working as a nurse/receptionist for the vets back in 1989 before the merger that established Bay Vets Ltd. She later went on to have children and on return, took up the role of Credit Control Manager, working mainly part time. As well as credit control Louise also enjoys sorting out the animal insurance claims. She loves spending time with her family, and also has an 18 month old labrador who is very energetic and needs plenty of walks. Her interests include dog walking, craft and reading.

Ms Alison Pearson
Practice Manager Morecambe
Alison joined the practice in 2013 and thoroughly enjoys her role as Practice Manager.
Previously she has worked as a qualified dental nurse for 6 years. She has also a wealth of experience working with the public. She owned her own hotel and was also Front of House Manager for a large Spa and beauty Salon.
Alison enjoys outdoor activities such as cycling, running and discovering new walks in the country. She has a cat called Beau and not forgetting 3 wonderful children.
