A warm welcome to the Bay Vets Website!
The present companion animal practice, known as Bay Vets Limited, is the result of a merger some years ago of the two long established veterinary surgeries in Lancaster and Morecambe, with a branch in the pleasant South Cumbrian village of Milnthorpe.

We have built our reputation over the years on the highest standards of care and compassion to both patients and owners, and only ask that we be judged by the quality of service and value we offer.
We are proud to be members of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards Scheme (accredited General Practice) and all staff are committed to offering a complete lifetime healthcare service in a professional yet friendly way.
Our highly trained and motivated staff almost without exception are keen pet owners not only of dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, but also horses and ponies and even a llama! We really do understand how much they enrich our lives.
We all feel privileged to be part of the local community and in return we try and give something back. To this end we offer our support to all our local animal charities and are always happy to visit schools or offer ourselves to speak on animal issues at local events.
We also try to support a chosen National Charity - in 2010 the whole practice was involved in climbing the Yorkshire Three Peaks to raise money for 'Help the Heroes', and in 2011-2012, we were involved in events in support of the 'North West Air Ambulance Charity'.
