Are you graduating soon? Would you love a friendly, supportive team at an independent practice to help you settle in and enjoy starting your new exciting career? Would you like to have the summer off and start fresh in September after a nice break?!!

One of our great vets is moving back to be closer to family and can give you reassurance that she really enjoyed her first few years with us, she would be happy for us to speak to you in confidence if you would like.

We want you to feel supported, so we promise your first four weeks will not be on the rota, you will have sessions with reception, nurses, admin and the vets getting to grips with how we work before going on the day rota.

We work a four day week with the same day off, our last appointment is 5.45pm. We offer 5 weeks holiday and 5 days funded CPD.

We do provide our own clients with an OOH service, for which we have a dedicated night nurse team to answer the phone and be at hand to help. You will also have a backup vet to call on any time of night if you need another set of eyes, ears or hands! All the day vets take part in this rota which is 1:12 When you are on your week of nights, you do not work in the daytime and have a long weekend off at the end.

Colin, our certificate holder, along with our referrals team take referrals in orthopaedics, soft tissue and spinal surgery, we have visiting clinicians in ultrasonography, cardiology and regular CT/MRI visits. We also have vets working towards their certificates in medicine and surgery who are very helpful for case advice and planning.

You can meet us all on bayvets.co.uk and to apply please send your CV to karen@bayvets.co.uk

If you would like to speak privately to our departing vet then please drop us an email and we will put you in touch.
