Our previous surgery, located in the market square of Milnthorpe began its existence in a building that had been a small betting shop. In 1983, a veterinary surgeon named Susan saw great potential in the property and transformed it into an intimate yet dependable veterinary surgery.

The team members at Bay Vets Milnthorpe share infectious personalities and as a result, have come to know all of their visitors on a first name basis. In 2023, as this surgery was outgrown, we relocated to Bridge End Business Park. The team remains consistent, with some new additions to support the demand in Milnthorpe.

Our team of fully qualified veterinary nurses and surgeons can offer a number of services at here, including thorough health checks and straight forward surgical procedures such as neutering.

The new purpose-built surgery houses our CT scanner too, so our referral vets and clients visit when required also.

There is always someone on hand to answer any questions you may have. Whether it’s help brushing your dog’s teeth, or advice on which parasite treatment is most suitable for your rabbit, we’re always happy to help. In the unfortunate circumstance that your pet requires more substantial veterinary attention, they will be referred to either our Lancaster or Morecambe surgery. If you are unable to transport your pet yourself, we have a pet transport service you can access.
