During the first 16 weeks of life your puppy is much more adaptable than it will be later on.  Therefore it is very important to get it used to lots of different experiences during this “socialisation period”.  Click the link below to download your own socialisation programme to record and remind you to have your puppy experience as many different situations as possible.

Here’s some advice for those of you with puppies during lockdown. Your training plan and vaccination course may have been impacted by the current situation which ultimately could affect their whole lives so have a watch and consider how you can best keep them happy, healthy and entertained. Getting creative with introducing stimuli to your puppy can provide some much-needed fun for us humans too!

Get your puppy socialising at one of Our Puppy Parties

Designed for puppies up to the age of 16 weeks old, once first vaccinations have been completed. Our Puppy Parties give your puppy the opportunity to meet and play with other puppies and their owners and become more accustomed to visiting our surgery.  It also helps puppy parents to learn more about very important things like parasites, insurance and health checks.  To book your puppy onto our next party please call any of our surgeries.
